Welcome to the official home of The Friends of Dorothy Guild!


The Friends of Dorothy is a fundraising guild of AIDS Services Foundation OC started in 2007 by Barbara Venezia and a small group of friends.  The Friends of Dorothy was created to heighten awareness and funding of much needed ASF programs and to reach out to a broader aspect of our community.
In The Wizard of Oz, Dorothy clicked her heels three times and made things happen! That's what members of the Friends of Dorothy do for ASF, they make things happen!

We are proud to be an all Volunteer Organization.  Our success has been possible through the efforts of our Steering Committee and the members of the Community that donate their time and resources.  This has enabled us to keep expenses very low while creating our fantastic events.  

Over 90% of all monies collected from our events go directly to ASF!

Sure we all have plenty of credit cards, but this one is special because with every purchase a percentage of what you spend goes to ASF.

DJ Golden Mike

DJ Golden Mike spins tunes and has kept us rockn' at every Fashion Show Rave and Haunted Halloween since he joined the steering committee three years ago. Mike keeps us rockin' n rollin all night long!

AIDS Services Foundation
AIDS Services Foundation Orange County’s (ASF) mission is to prevent the spread of HIV and improve the lives of men, women, and children affected by HIV/AIDS in Orange County.

ASF helps more than 1,600 men, women, children, and families in Orange County living with HIV disease. Services include food, transportation, housing, emergency financial assistance, kids and family programs, mental health counseling, support groups and HIV education and prevention services.
